Accurate measuring is necessary in order to find your correct size. Measuring over your undergarments will give a more accurate measurement, and having someone assist you (if possible) is also helpful.

The torso measurement is the most important. Torso length has little relationship to height; a taller woman might have a long torso and shorter legs, and a shorter woman might have a small torso and longer legs. A correct torso measurement ensures better fitting clothing!

Torso

Run a tape measure full circle from your shoulder, over the fullest part of your bust, down through the center of your crotch and back up to the starting point. Starting with the tape running over the back and through the crotch is easiest.

Bust

Relax your arms at your side, and measure the fullest part of your bust, keeping the measuring tape parallel to the floor.

Waist

Wrap the measuring tape snugly around the smallest part of your waist and wiggle around until the tape naturally settles. Make sure the tape lays flat against your skin.

High Hip

Stand with your feet and legs together. Measure 4” down from your natual waist. Make sure the tape is parallel to the floor all the way around.

Low Hip

Stand with your feet and legs together. Measure around the fullest part of your hips (this is usually 8” down from your natural waist). Make sure the tape is parallel to the floor all the way around.

Thigh

Measure around the fullest part of your thigh (only one thigh). Make sure measuring tape is parallel to the floor.

Front Rise

Measure down from your belly button to the bottom of your crotch.

Full Rise

Hold one end of the measuring tape at natural waist. Pull measuring tape through legs and up to natural waist point on the back.

Inseam

Measure from crotch down to bottom of ankle bone. Make sure to “walk” the measuring tape down the leg to ensure accurate measurement.

Knee

Measure from the natural waist down to the center knee on the side of your body, not the front.
